theStar.com's stock quote service gives you access to quotes, charts and fundamental data on more than 12,000 companies listed on major Canadian and American stock exchanges.

You can search by ticker symbol or company name using the search box above. For Canadian tickers, simply type in the symbol. For American exchanges, add the prefix "US." (e.g., US.MSFT).

The quotes are delayed by at least 15 minutes and include the current price, change, daily and 52-week high and low, volume,dvidend, P/E and much more. Users logged into our Portfolio feature have the option of adding stocks directly into their Portfolios.

The charts feature provides a snapshot of share activity, showing both price and volume, over the past 1 to 48 months. You can view the chart as a bar, candle or line graph, view the information as a linear or log chart and smooth the information out using moving averages.

The company data offers basic information for over 12,000 North American companies. This includes contact information, press releases and search engines that automatically search the Web for more information about the company.
